Antonia Soares Thompson is a seasoned legal professional with a dedicated career in public service and social justice. She currently serves as Chief of Staff for the Supreme Judicial Court of Suffolk County.

Prior to this role, she served as the Director of Racial Justice Initiatives at the Middlesex County District Attorney鈥檚 Office, where she spearheaded programs designed to address racial disparities and promote equity within the justice system. Earlier in her career, Soares Thompson was the Project Manager for the Restorative Justice Project at the Stamford Mayor鈥檚 Youth Services Bureau from 2010 to 2021. In that role, she led initiatives focused on rehabilitating youth offenders through community-based solutions, reducing recidivism, and fostering a restorative approach to justice. Across these positions, she developed deep expertise in program development, community outreach, and the implementation of policies that support systemic change.

These experiences have shaped Soares Thompson鈥檚 comprehensive perspective on the criminal justice system. Having served as both a public defender and a prosecutor, she brings a balanced understanding of the system鈥檚 challenges and opportunities. Her commitment to justice and equity continues to drive her efforts to strengthen community relations and promote inclusive practices within the legal framework.

In addition to her professional work, Soares Thompson is an adjunct professor at the Boston College Woods School, where she shares her knowledge and experience with the next generation of legal professionals. Serving as a member of the 黑料不打烊 Board of Trustees has further extended her impact on higher education and community engagement.
