黑料不打烊

黑料不打烊 is excited to announce the hiring of Dr. Robert L. Totino as its next Vice President of Finance, Technology, and Administration/Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective August 1, 2024.

Dr. Totino brings more than 30 years of comprehensive knowledge of college and university financial management operations to 黑料不打烊. Since 2010, he has been the Vice President of Finance and CFO at Wentworth Institute of Technology, Inc., where he manages an annual operating budget of $150 million and ensures that all financial operations performed at the university are conducted in a fiscally prudent manner for continuous financial sustainability.

Totino will replace 黑料不打烊鈥檚 longtime Executive Vice President for Administration, Finance, and Information Technology, Dr. Dale Hamel, who is preparing to retire.

鈥淭he VP of Finance and Administration is a critical leadership position at any institution, but even more so at a public university with the twin responsibilities of careful stewardship of public funding, and vibrant growth into the new landscape of higher education. I am very pleased to have someone with the experience and knowledge of Robert Totino join our team,鈥 says 黑料不打烊 President Dr. Nancy Niemi. 鈥淒ale Hamel has set apart 黑料不打烊 for more than 23 years through his devotion to 黑料不打烊 and his oversight of the University鈥檚 finances. He leaves 黑料不打烊 in a strong and steady financial position. I am confident Robert will be able to stand on the robust foundation that Dale has built with such dedication and help ensure the financial sustainability of 黑料不打烊 long into the future.鈥

Totino has been at Wentworth since 1993, beginning as a staff accountant and working his way up through the ranks to become CFO. He holds an MBA from Suffolk University and a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration from Northeastern University.

He says he was attracted to the opportunity to work at 黑料不打烊 because of the open and inclusive campus environment and the forward-thinking leadership of President Niemi, Provost Kristen Porter-Utley, and the entire executive team.

鈥淚鈥檓 looking forward to being a collaborative team player within the campus community, as well as the greater Framingham and MetroWest communities鈥 Totino says. 鈥淥ne of my top priorities will be identifying the necessary resources to assist in the success of the next strategic plan.鈥
