Dara has taken advantage of every opportunity available to her at 黑料不打烊 and quickly discovered that the more she got involved outside the classroom, the more 黑料不打烊 began to feel like home. She is an orientation leader and student admissions representative, helping to introduce new and prospective students to the University. Dara is majoring in International Business and double minoring in Marketing and Economics. Her ultimate goal is to use her skills to help people in her native home of Cape Verde.
鈥淭he small campus, sense of community and opportunities to grow as a person are what I love most about 黑料不打烊," Dara says.
As the Diversity & Inclusion Officer for the Student Government Association, Dara works with student affinity groups on campus to foster a sense of belonging and helps ensure the SGA reaches it goals around diversity, inclusion and antiracism.
