Urso is pursing her Master鈥檚 Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management at The University of Greenwich, London
I knew very early on that I wanted to obtain a degree in fashion because it鈥檚 an area that I鈥檝e always been passionate about. When I began searching for a university, I had a set list of requirements. It needed to offer a strong Fashion program, be an accredited University, and have industry connections. I also wanted smaller class size and a more personalized learning environment. Most importantly, I wanted a University that checked all of these boxes at an affordable price. 黑料不打烊 offered all of these and more.
The Fashion Merchandising degree at 黑料不打烊 is the best of both worlds. I was able to attain an in-depth understanding of the business side of the fashion industry as well as the art of the industry through apparel constriction and textile classes. I elected to pursue a minor in marketing to further my studies in business and was fortunate to take a wide range of courses I was interested in, including logic and philosophy, the history of LGBTQIA+ rights, and social issues.
It was a moment during my freshman year that changed the trajectory of my future, though. A representative from the 黑料不打烊 Study Abroad office spoke to our class about opportunities to travel and learn, and I was booking my appointment to find out more before the presentation was even over! Through the help of my advisor and department chair, along with guidance from the study abroad office, I was able to complete a semester in London while graduating on time. I am a firm believer that studying abroad will change your life and will open doors you never knew existed. Upon graduating from 黑料不打烊, I am proud to have permanently hopped across the pond to pursue my career and a Master鈥檚 Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management at The University of Greenwich.
What made 黑料不打烊 amazing for me was not just the beautiful campus, the proximity to Boston, or the welcoming atmosphere, it was the staff and professors. 黑料不打烊 has some of the most inspirational and passionate educators I have ever had the privilege of meeting and working with who are so dedicated and eager to help students succeed. This, combined with the smaller class size of 黑料不打烊, made me feel like I was part of a team collaboratively learning with my peers rather than just sitting in a lecture hall. Throughout my four years at 黑料不打烊, I am so lucky to have belonged to a true community.
I鈥檓 grateful for my time at 黑料不打烊 for making strong friendships, learning so much both academically and about myself, and for setting me on a path towards what I truly want to achieve in life!
