Community Members
Serving the Public Good Since 1839
Public regional institutions of higher education are the centers of their communities—we are anchor institutions. Unlike major corporations or businesses, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ cannot decide to relocate. We are, in fact, ‘stewards of place,’ organizations whose job it is to serve the community in which we are located. Serving our public and our people is, in fact, part of our organizational DNA.
This page is designed to be a resource for community members interested in taking advantage of the resources, events, and opportunities available at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ. If you cannot find what you are looking for, or have any questions, feel free to contact us at communityinfo [at] framingham.edu (communityinfo[at]framingham[dot]edu) and we will get back to you as soon as we are able.
At ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ, we consider the communities in which we live as a living part of our organization—we thrive and grow together.

Events that can positively impact ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ (ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ) and its communities may be eligible for sponsorship/partnership with the university. To ensure opportunities strongly align with ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s mission, the university has established a set of guidelines and a Sponsorship Request Form.
The process to approve an event or sponsorship can be simple, as long as the opportunity aligns with ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s mission, a strategic goal, or a core value.
All sponsorship requests undergo a formal review process by the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Sponsorship Committee and the Vice President for Diversity, Inclusion, and Community Engagement before advancing to the Board of Trustees for approval during full board meetings.Ìý
As a publicly supported academic institution, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ does not support political action committees, ballot initiatives, or political campaigns.
